Tucson Wilson

Tucson Wilson of Prescott, Iowa passed away on July 22, 2024 at the age of thirteen years and eight months.

Tucson was born in late November of 2010 in Bondurant, Iowa, and was adopted into the Wilson family approximately eight weeks later. Her birthday was celebrated each year on Thanksgiving.

Tucson enjoyed hiking, camping, patrolling the yard, napping, belly rubs, and yoga. She acquired the trail name “Green Light” for her readiness to go for a hike, camping trip, car ride, or any journey to visit family or friends. Tucson was an affectionate and loyal dog, as quick to comfort loved ones as she was to defend them from a nearby raccoon, rabbit, or delivery driver. She bore two litters of puppies, and was a devoted mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend.

Late in life, she battled epilepsy.

Tucson is survived by parents J. and Michelle Wilson of Prescott, Iowa; brothers Jake (Katie) Wilson of Lincoln, Nebraska; Tom Wilson of Des Moines, Iowa; and Apollo Wilson of Prescott, Iowa; sister Calamity Wilson of Prescott, Iowa; son TD Bozwell of Corning, Iowa; daughter Holly Wilson of Des Moines, Iowa; son Cerberus Seay of West Des Moines, Iowa; niece Sophia Wilson of Lincoln, Nebraska; nephews Toto and Fang Wilson of Lincoln, Nebraska; and niece Lola Wilson of Lincoln, Nebraska, as well as many friends and family members.
